Who we are
TripForCare ("we", "us") is a medical-travel facilitator. We help international patients identify and arrange treatment at accredited hospitals in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, India. Our facilitation is free to patients; partner hospitals pay us a fee for referred patients.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you give us: your name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, country of residence, the treatment you're asking about, and anything you write in the message field.
- Medical information you choose to share later in the conversation (reports, scans, history) so a specialist can advise you.
- Limited technical data: the page you enquired from, campaign parameters in the link you clicked, your browser's user-agent string, and a one-way hashed form of your IP address used only to catch spam. We do not store your raw IP.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to prepare a treatment and cost estimate with partner hospitals, and to coordinate travel and care if you go ahead. Our basis for this is your consent (the box you tick on the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
Who we share it with
To get you an estimate we share relevant details with the specific partner hospital(s) best suited to your case. We share your medical information with a hospital only with your agreement. We use a third-party email provider to send and receive mail. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to help you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry data is stored in a database that is only reachable through a password-protected admin area. Access is limited to staff who need it.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, email privacy@tripforcare.com. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to a data-protection regulator.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie, set only when you submit the enquiry form, to protect the form against cross-site request forgery. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics later, we'll update this policy first.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, note it on the site.
